THE COROLLA LEVIN 1.6L BZG

The Levin and Treno are 2-door coupes with front wheel drive. These sport cars are fitted with a 20v 1.6L twin cam 4AGE engine, producing 165bhp to 170bhp! This car revs to 8000rpm just like the civic V-Tec systems, as a result it goes 0-60 in about 7 seconds. Keep the revs about or below 3000rpm and its very economical.

These cars come with ABS, PAS, Air Conditioning, Central Locking, Adjustable Seats and Steering Column, Electric Windows and Mirrors, Alloy Wheels,

The difference between the Levin and the Treno is minimal. It’s just the rear light cluster, shape of the front lights and the badge on the front. See the pictures below.

The 20-Valve 4AGE Black Top engines use Toyota’s version of the variable cam timing VVT. This naturally aspirated engine with an additional intake valve for each cylinder, making it one of the first production 5-valve per cylinder engine. Yamaha worked with Toyota on the cylinder head design and manufacture of this engine. This is very apparent when you see the quad throttle bodies (Yamaha R1), making this a sound engine. The magic of 20-valve is apparent on the ability to attain and sustain a high RPM threshold with impressive Low-End Torque. This is the closest to race spec engine Toyota has ever produced.

In Japan these engines were used in Formula Toyota, group A of the JGTC, where there was only one spec engine available to all competitors.
